![]() Otherwise, much like the Equinox, it is one of the worst weapons in the game. The single solitary thing its got going for it is a very fast reload. Furthermore, just to add insult to injury the TR have 10 more bullets and higher RPM(of which I am not opposed). Ever wanted a Solstice VE3 with horrible recoil and random shake? The other faction version have 1.4/1.8 first shot multiplier but the weapon with the least damage per magazine gets a 2.3 first shot multiplier(because screw logic). The downside for VS is unmitigated piece of **** that the Solstice SF is. The UBGSL minimizes the value of one of their class specific grenade types. I do, however, feel bad for the few dedicated Light Assault players out there. The only thing that smoke needs to do is block Q-spotting, removing the doritos of targets in the smoke, and making spotting targets through the smoke ineffectual. ![]() After ten meters, the grenade will discharge against any surface so, if you are catching fire from a higher location that you can't shoot back upon as easily, you can land a shot against the side of the structure and block their LoS. It will blind MAXes, who have no IRNV, and tanks, who will only benefit a little by running thermal, but completely making it difficult to gauge distance or respond to Infantry AV. It's good for blinding enemies that are firing from a distance, by landing a shot near enough to them that it covers them - at range IRNV is useless and they're easier targets if they try to rush out from the smoke. Smoke is incredibly effective for covering retreats and pushing advances, for both Infantry and tanks. ![]()
